Seminar Series October 2011 - September 2012 

 

  • On Thursday 26th of April 2012 NCPOP held a seminar entitled 'Managing elder abuse in Ireland: The senior case worker's experience'. This seminar was presented by Dr. Deirdre O'Donnell from the National Centre for the Protection of Older People.   • On Tuesday 21st of February 2012 a seminar entitled 'Identifying and making decisions about the presence of elder abuse' was held by NCPOP. This seminar was presented by Dr. Campbell Killick from South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust, Co. Down.   • On Tuesday 6th of December 2011 a seminar entitled 'Older People's Understandings of Elder Abuse" & "Staff Perceptions of Elder Abuse' was held by NCPOP. This seminar was presented by Dr. Janet Anand Carter from Queen's University, Belfast and Dr. Alice Coffey, University College Cork. Admission to all our seminars is free and all are welcome! Attendance at our seminars may qualify for CPD points.
